Short guides for building, sharing and managing your cards.

Getting started

Create your card

Sign up with your name and email. BizCardy creates your first card and opens the editor. Your card is live immediately at the link shown at the top of the editor.

Edit your details

The Content tab holds your name, title, company, bio, phone, email, website and address. Leave a field empty and it will not appear on the card.

Add a photo, logo and cover

Tap an image slot and pick a file. Your profile photo opens a cropper so you can zoom and position it. Images are resized in your browser before upload.

Add social links

Under Links, choose a network and paste your profile address. Use the arrows to reorder.

Design

Themes and layouts

The Design tab starts with ten themes. Pick one, then change the layout, colours, font, corners, shadow, background, buttons and icon style. If a colour would make text hard to read, BizCardy adjusts it automatically.

Match your brand

Upload your logo and choose Design → Match colours to my logo. BizCardy reads the logo and offers four colour sets built from it (Clean, Soft, Dark and Bold), each checked so text stays readable. Or type your website address and choose Import to pull in your logo, brand colour and company name.

Industry kits

Choose Start from an industry kit for a matching look plus the widgets that kind of business usually needs: real estate, restaurants, salons, consultants, trades, fitness, creatives, clinics, legal and finance, and sales.

Layouts, covers and fonts

Seven layouts include Split (photo beside your name), Big photo and Link list. With no cover photo, pick a cover pattern drawn in your colours. Choose from twenty fonts or upload your own brand font as a .woff2 file.

Dark mode and desktop

Turn on Follow the visitor’s dark mode for a dark version in your colours. On wide screens your profile stays put while widgets scroll beside it. Use the phone, tablet and desktop buttons above the preview to check each size, and drag the edge of the preview to resize it.

Motion

Under Design → Motion, choose Subtle to ease each section in as visitors scroll, Lively for a moving cover, glowing photo and confetti, or Off.

Widgets

Add a widget

Open the Widgets tab and choose Add widget. Browse by category or search, then tap a widget to add it. It opens ready to fill in.

Arrange and style

Drag a widget by its handle or use the arrows to reorder. Each widget has four looks: Plain, Card, Tinted and Bold. Use the eye to hide a widget without deleting it.

Reviews

Paste your review link into a review widget. For Google you can paste your Place ID instead and BizCardy builds the link. The Rate your experience widgets record the rating, then invite every visitor to post a public review and to send you a private note.

Street View and maps

Add Street View, then in Google Maps open Street View at your door and choose ⋮ → Share or embed image → Embed a map → Copy HTML, and paste it in. Latitude and longitude also work. Map and Satellite view only need an address.

Live Google reviews

Add Live Google reviews and paste your Google Place ID. The widget shows your real rating, review count and latest reviews, refreshed twice a day. It needs the site owner to add a Google Places key once.

Polls and ratings

Votes and ratings are counted in Analytics under “What people tapped”. Private feedback and form messages arrive in Leads.

Tabs, spacing and dividers

Give widgets the same Tab name to group them behind tabs on your card, such as About, Work and Reviews. Each widget also has a spacing choice and an optional divider line.

Booking, menus and calculators

Appointment times lets visitors pick a day and a free time; requests arrive in Leads and that time then shows as taken. Menu and Products show items with prices and photos. Calculator gives a live mortgage estimate or an instant quote from a quantity.

On a phone

Drag a widget by its handle with your finger to reorder, or swipe it left to remove it. Undo brings it back.

Built-in sections

At the bottom of the Widgets tab you can switch off the standard contact rows or social icons when a widget does the same job.

Sharing

Your link

Change your link in the Share tab. Links use 3–40 lowercase letters, numbers and dashes.

Private cards

In the Share tab, set a password to make a card private. Visitors see a password page first and nothing about you until they enter it. Changing the password asks everyone to enter the new one.

QR codes

The Share tab builds a QR code for your card. Choose a style and colour, add your logo, then download a PNG for screens or an SVG for print. Scans are counted separately in analytics.

Save to contacts

Visitors tap Save contact to download a vCard with your photo and details. On iPhone this opens the Contacts sheet; on Android it opens in Contacts or Google Contacts.

Email signature

Copy a ready-made signature from the Share tab and paste it into the signature settings of your mail app.

Add to home screen

Open your card on your phone, then choose Share → Add to Home Screen in Safari or ⋮ → Add to Home screen in Chrome. It then opens like an app, even offline.

NFC tags

Any NFC tag or card can open your BizCardy. Use a free NFC writer app to write your link with ?s=nfc on the end so taps are counted.

Share image

In the Share tab, choose Create share image. This is the picture WhatsApp, iMessage, LinkedIn and Slack show when you send your link.

Print pack

The Share tab also prints paper business cards, a name badge and a table tent with your QR code, and makes an email banner image.

Flip side and sticky bar

Under Content → How your card behaves, add a flip side with a large QR code for in-person scanning, and keep Save and Call within thumb reach while people scroll.

Languages

The built-in wording on a card (such as “Save contact”) can follow the visitor’s language: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese or Italian.

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet

When the site owner has switched wallet passes on, the QR sheet on every card shows Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet. The pass carries your name, title, phone, email and a QR code back to your card, in your brand colour.

HubSpot and Salesforce

Paste a HubSpot private app token and each new lead becomes a HubSpot contact. Enter your Salesforce Organization ID (with Web-to-Lead on) and each lead is created in Salesforce with the source “BizCardy”. Individuals set these in the Share tab; companies under Team → Settings, where they cover every team card.

Webhooks and your own domain

Individuals can send new leads to a webhook (Zapier, Make, n8n or a CRM) and show a card on their own domain from the Share tab. Companies set both under Team → Settings.

Virtual meeting background

In the Share tab, choose Make a background for a 1920 × 1080 image in your colours with your name, logo and a QR code people can scan off the screen. Pick from four styles and download it for Zoom, Teams or Meet.

Export

Download a single HTML file of your card from the Share tab to host on your own site. Exported cards do not include lead capture or analytics.

Leads and analytics

Lead capture

When Exchange contact is on, visitors can send you their name, email, phone and a note. You get an email, and the details appear under Leads.

The lead pipeline

The Leads page is a board with five columns: New, Contacted, Qualified, Won and Lost. Drag a lead between columns (on a phone, press and hold first), or switch to the list view. The bars at the top show how many leads sit at each stage; tap one to focus on it.

Working a lead

Tap a lead to open it. Set how interested they are (cold, warm or hot), add tags, keep private notes, and choose Remind me to follow up for tomorrow, three days, a week or a month. You get an email that morning.

Automatic thank-you email

Choose Follow-up on the Leads page to send a friendly note, with a button to save your contact, to everyone who shares their details. Companies can set one message for every team card under Team → Settings.

Capture mode for events

Choose Capture leads for a full-screen tool built for trade shows. Name the event and set a goal, then scan a QR code (digital cards, badges and LinkedIn codes), photograph a paper card or badge, or type someone in. Rate them in a tap, answer your own quick questions, and move on. It keeps working without a connection and sends everything once you are back online.

Bookings and reminders

Requests from the Appointment times widget are marked Booking in Leads, with a filter to show only those. When the scheduled job is set up (Team → Settings, or ask your host), you and your visitor each get a reminder email the day before.

Compare departments and locations

Company admins see views, saves and leads rolled up by department, location and any other group on the Analytics page. Tap a row to narrow the whole page to that group. Leads can be filtered the same way, and the CSV export includes a column per group.

Analytics

The Analytics page shows views, unique visitors, taps, saves and shares, with breakdowns by link, source and device. Cards set no cookies and visitor IP addresses are not stored.

Teams

Create a company account

Choose Company when you sign up. You become the account owner and get a Team area in the dashboard.

Set up your brand kit

In Team → Brand kit, add the company name, logo, cover image, website and address, then design the theme. Turn on a lock to apply that item to every card and stop reps changing it.

Import from Excel

In Team → Import, upload the .xlsx or .csv file you already have, with one person per row. No template is needed. Up to 2,000 rows per file.

Pair your columns

BizCardy pairs each column with a card field by reading both the heading and the data, so a column called “Contact” full of email addresses is still recognised as Email. Green pairs are confident, amber ones are worth a glance. Change any pair from its menu, keep unusual columns as Extra detail, and use the arrows above the phone to preview each person’s card. Separate first and last names, “Last, First” names and split street, city, state and ZIP columns are combined for you.

Manage people

On Team → People & cards, filter by status or department, sort by views or leads, and select several people for bulk actions. Tap a name to open their sheet: edit, copy link, show QR, resend the invite, change title, department or invite email, unpublish or delete.

Invite reps

Tick Email each person a link to claim their card during import, or select cards later and choose Send invites. Reps set a password, then can add a photo and edit anything that is not locked.

Update existing cards

Re-upload a sheet with Update people who already have a card ticked. Rows are matched by email address.

Departments, locations and your own groups

In Team → Structure, set up the groups your company uses: departments, locations, regions, brands, franchises or anything else, and rename them to match your language. Each item can carry its own brand kit, address, phone and website, which appear on the cards of the people in it. Groups become filters in the team list and on your public team page, and columns you can pair during import.

Managers

Give a department or location a manager by email. Once they have claimed their own card, they can edit the cards of everyone in that group without being a full admin.

What reps can change

In Team → Settings, switch off anything reps should not edit: name, job title, photo, bio, contact details, links, widgets, design or card behaviour. Locked parts are greyed out for them. Admins can always edit everything.

Approvals

Turn on Review changes before they go live and a rep’s edits wait for an admin. Approve or reject from the team list.

Extra brand kits and company widgets

Add brand kits for sub-brands or regions and assign them to people, groups or a whole import. Add company widgets (your reviews link, a video, the booking page) that lead every card.

Team page, photo requests and syncing

Publish a branded “Meet the team” page with search and filters. Ask people without a photo for one by email: they tap a link and take a selfie. Keep cards in step with a Google Sheet or CSV link, daily, from Team → Settings.

Email signatures for everyone

On Team → People & cards choose Signatures to see a ready-made signature for every person, in your brand kit. Download one page to send to the team; each person copies their own.

Activity log

Team → Settings lists the last 200 changes made by admins: settings, imports, bulk actions, roles, jobs and exports.

When someone leaves

Unpublish or delete their card from the team list. Removing a member keeps their card with the company so you can reassign it.

Job listings

Post a job

Company admins open Team → Jobs and choose New job. Start from a template (sales, customer service, technician, manager, office, intern) or a blank page. Add the title, pay, description, duties, requirements and benefits while the preview updates beside you, then choose Publish job.

Where a job appears

Every published job gets its own shareable page with a QR code, joins your careers page, and is added to your team’s cards under a “We are hiring” heading. Per job you can show it on every card, only on cards in the same department or location, or on no cards.

Your careers page

Choose Careers page and cards to set the page address, headline, intro, perks, an “about us” section, a cover photo and whether jobs are listed as rows or cards. Visitors can search and filter by location, job type and your own groups.

How people apply

Use the built-in form (name and email, plus optional or required phone, CV as a PDF, cover message, a profile link and up to six screening questions), send applicants to your own link, or take applications by email. You and the applicant both get an email.

Reviewing applicants

Open a job’s applicants to see everyone in one place. Move people through New, Reviewed, Interview, Offer, Hired and Not moving forward, give a star rating, keep private notes, download CVs and export to CSV. CVs are stored privately and only your admins can download them.

Closing a job

Close a job by hand, or set a closing date and it stops taking applications by itself. Closed jobs leave the careers page and cards straight away. Deleting a job also deletes its applicants and their CVs.

Found by job search engines

Job pages include the structured details search engines use for job results, including pay, location and job type.

Account

Sign in with Google or Microsoft

When the site owner has switched these on, the log in and sign up pages show Continue with Google and Continue with Microsoft.

Change email or password

Go to Account. You will need your current password.

Download or delete your data

Account has a button to download everything as a file, and another to delete your account and cards permanently.
